| Once
again, my Time Management skills have shamed me. With
both kids in school for 6 hours every day, you'd think
I would have the time for many wonderful and noble things
-- helping the poor, planting an organic vegetable garden,
learning to bellydance, etc. But even with the new self-imposed
schedule (it's even color-coded!) I am barely finding
time for the basics like website updates and bathroom
scrubbing (we have FOUR toilets in this house, btw)
let alone pursuing any hobbies or projects as expected.
What is wrong with me??
I have over 6,000 photos on my hard drive alone that
haven't been tagged or even printed and crammed into
an album (forget about scrapbooking). I have stacks
of digital video begging to be iMovied into DVD keepsakes.
I haven't yoga'd in a week. No photographic explorations
to downtown yet. Still haven't learned Italian. I haven't
even trained the dog to stop jumping up and high-fiving
the butts of visitors... not once have I even indulged
in a single day of sitting around watching chickflicks
and eating bon-bons.
Heck, I think I was more productive when I was sitting
in an office for 9 hours a day and doing 2-martini lunches*.
*Hi, Eden!!
