An email I received last night, and my response. I'm posting it here because I put more than 5 minutes of thought into it:

Yes, conSIDERABLY more work. But you adjust. And once you have the 2 children, and watch them interacting and growing together, you will wonder:
1) how any selfish bastard parents can have just 1 child, robbing the kid of a sibling experience, and
2) how the hell anyone can have 3.
